Hi, my joyful friends!

I recently took a trip to a ski area. I loved meeting you all so much last year that I decided to come back again this year! I made it my mission to bring you smiles this winter, and it just so happens that maneige.ski team asked me to spread joy in the mountains.

As soon as they asked, I said yes. I mean, having fun in the mountains—what could be better?

I decided to gather a few friends, and together we hit the slopes to bring you smiles. I named my crew the “Smile Squad.” It was such a pleasure working with them, and on top of that, we had amazing snow—wow!

We had planned tons of activities for you, my joyful friends! I even came up with a little vox pop quiz where you could win ski tickets. The questions were really tough, like: “What’s the best way to have fun in winter?” I was more than happy to hand out ski tickets to everyone who gave me great answers—haha!

We wandered around the resort and met so many people. Some of you were super focused, some looked like you were searching for the chairlift, and others had that childlike wonder in your eyes as you watched the slopes and the falling snow. No matter where you were, I loved seeing your smiles—whether at the top, the bottom, or anywhere on the mountain. People who share their smiles with me? I love that!

And besides that, I saw skiers of all levels. I met Samuel, who was learning to ski alongside his son, Oscar. It was so heartwarming to see them start together. I met Carole, a newly retired skier giving it another try after many years. We chatted on the lift, and I suggested we do a run together. Seeing her smile as she rediscovered the joy of skiing was magical. And then there were Gaston and Suzanne, who weren’t sure about coming that morning because it was gray in the city. They decided to take a chance, and they were not disappointed. They quickly realized that the conditions are always magical in the mountains. The moment they stepped into the fresh snow, their smiles returned.

All in all, I’m so happy I got to see you during my trip, and I loved spreading a little joy. Keep smiling—there’s no better place for it than the mountains!
