Ferme Tournevent is located in Hébertville, Lac-Saint-Jean, and has been certified organic by Ecocert Canada since 2008. The Tournevent brand is distinguished by its 100% natural, organic and gluten-free products. Initially known for the distribution of garlic and garlic flowers on the local retail market, other crops have contributed to its recognition. It produces on over 500 hectares and processes gluten-free grains such as hemp, buckwheat, canola, flax, peas and lentils, as well as garlic. The grains produced are food grade and are used, in majority (99%), for human consumption. Only downgraded grains are used for animal consumption.
