The Adaptive Sports Foundation helps the disabled live life to the fullest by enjoying recreational adaptive skiing and snowboarding, and triggering a deep sense of accomplishment and satisfaction for accompanying volunteers and instructors as well.
Skiing is a very easy sport to practice for anyone with physical or intellectual disabilities. Alpine skiing can also be experienced by the visually or hearing impaired (partial or total), those with cognitive impairment, by amputees, paraplegics, tetraplegics as well as people suffering from spina bifida, cerebral palsy or loss of coordination, balance or mobility, to name but a few.
Thanks to certified instructors and adaptive equipment, even people suffering from multiple disabilities can enjoy a day out on the trails.
