Mysnow Experience for 5–8 year olds

Introducing kids to skiing is simple!

A free activity for kids age 5–8, Mysnow Experience program is an introduction to downhill skiing and snowboarding supervised by qualified, attentive instructors. Under the program, a kid-friendly ski area is set up in a local park. They can try out the magic carpet ski lift that will transport them up the hill with ease, make their first turns, and discover the joy of sliding. Mysnow Experience gives parents an opportunity to see if their kids are interested in skiing or snowboarding. It’s a perfect introduction before making the leap to a big ski hill.

Come visit us!

Every weekend, visit one of the 5 Mysnow Experience sites (3 permanent, 2 event) with your kids aged 5 to 8 years old, to make them live their first skiing or snowboarding experience!

Show up at the Mysnow Experience caravan inside the opening hours. No reservation required, first come, first on the hill!

See below for the dates and opening hours.

Preparing your child

Here are some tips to make sure your child is comfortable during the activity:

  • Wear a snowsuit
  • Avoid toques with pompoms to help the helmet fit better
  • Wear a neck warmer instead of a scarf
  • Wear warm, waterproof mittens
  • Make sure socks are warm and dry before starting the activity

Skiing in fall season? Yes, it's possible!

It is now possible for your children to get an introduction to skiing, in fall season, with the new dry slope! Freshly installed in the Centre de la nature de Laval, the dry slope creates the same glide feeling than the snow, but can be used all year long.

Meet us at the Centre de la nature de Laval, every fall weekend. Always free, the activity is offered to kids from 5 to 8 years old. The complete equipment is included (helmet, boots, skis).

Before heading to the activity, here are a few tips to enjoy the experience at its best:

  • Long shirt and pants are mandatory.
  • No personal equipment will be allowed on the site.
  • The helmet is mandatory, and included in the equipment.
  • Every child will have a Mysnow Experience package after the introduction. See the bottom of this page to get more details.
